About Dr Sarkany

Dr. Sarkany is a Consultant Dermatologist at St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London and at the Lister Hospital (Chelsea, London). At St. John's Institute he is is currently the senior Consultant in the Photodermatology Department, and was its Head from 2006-2023. 

He is an experienced Dermatologist expert in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of rashes, skin lesions, skin cancers, moles, and hair and nail problems, in children and adults. He is an international authority in the area of sunlight allergy problems and ultraviolet light therapy, and treats patients and researches in these areas. He lectures widely to Dermatologists in the UK and abroad.
